Join Terrific - Builders Welcome
Job description
About the role
This position is responsible for owning the end to end execution of critical initiatives that move the business from product exploration to scalable revenue generation and exceptional customer experience. You will own the definition, delivery, and measurable outcomes of projects that directly influence how brands interact with their audiences in real time. The role requires you to translate ambiguous opportunities into concrete product and operational workflows while maintaining a relentless focus on data driven decision making. You will partner closely with engineering, design, and commercial teams to ensure solutions are not only functional but also robust, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives. Your work will be judged by how well you bridge the gap between strategic vision and shipped capabilities that generate tangible value. You will be expected to question existing assumptions, propose alternative approaches, and drive improvements that compound over time. Success in this role means you are comfortable being the person who sees something that should exist and then builds it, and who sees a better way and simply does it. You will operate with ownership, clarity, and a bias for action as we build the next generation of social commerce.

What you'll do
Identify and define new opportunities for product and commercial growth by analyzing user behavior, market trends, and emerging use cases in live shopping and real time data.
Design and implement workflows that turn raw interaction data into actionable insights for brands, media companies, and creators operating in real time environments.
Collaborate with engineering partners to translate product requirements into technical specifications that prioritize performance, scalability, and reliability from the start.
Build and maintain integrations that connect Terrific infrastructure with third party systems, ensuring data flows securely and efficiently across the stack.
Develop and refine user facing experiences that make live, interactive, and personalized engagement intuitive for audiences on websites and mobile applications.
Establish experimentation frameworks that enable rapid testing of new features, pricing models, and engagement mechanics with clear metrics for success.
Own key portions of the product roadmap by prioritizing work based on impact, feasibility, and alignment with long term business outcomes.
Monitor production systems to identify bottlenecks, surface anomalies, and drive improvements that enhance reliability and customer trust.
Represent Terrific in discussions with partners and stakeholders, articulating product capabilities and gathering feedback to inform future iterations.
Champion best practices in data governance, privacy, and security by embedding these considerations into everyday product and engineering decisions.

Act as the operational backbone for live shopping initiatives, coordinating cross functionally to deliver results on tight timelines without compromising quality.
Requirements
You must have a strong track record of delivering complex projects in environments where requirements evolve quickly and ambiguity is common.
You are comfortable making decisions with incomplete information while maintaining the discipline to validate outcomes through experimentation and data.
You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to explain technical concepts to non technical stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
You have experience collaborating with distributed teams, understanding that asynchronous communication is essential for maintaining momentum and clarity.
You are proactive in identifying risks, raising issues early, and proposing concrete alternatives rather than waiting for direction.
You demonstrate a deep respect for data, using quantitative insights to guide decisions, measure progress, and communicate results to stakeholders.
You have a history of taking initiative and seeing ideas through from conception to implementation, even when ownership is not formally defined.
You are comfortable working in a fast paced, high growth environment where priorities can shift and responsibilities often expand beyond traditional job descriptions.
Nice to have
Experience building products or features for live shopping, real time engagement, or interactive media environments.
Familiarity with commerce platforms, payment flows, and conversion optimization in digital experiences.
Background working with customer data platforms, first party data strategies, or privacy compliant data practices.
Knowledge of modern frontend frameworks, API design, and integration patterns relevant to real time user experiences.
Understanding of brand direct commerce models and the challenges of shifting media spend toward owned channels.
Experience with analytics and experimentation tools that enable rapid validation of hypotheses and feature performance.
Prior involvement in early stage, high growth companies where processes are built as you scale rather than copied from large enterprises.
