About the role
You define the end-to-end product strategy for lending and credit decision experiences that directly shape how millions access affordable credit. You partner deeply with engineering and data science to translate ambiguous problems into clear product roadmaps that move the needle on inclusion and performance. You own the discovery, prioritization, and validation of features across our digital lending platform from application to decision and beyond. You synthesize user needs, market signals, and business constraints to craft solutions that balance regulatory requirements with delightful user outcomes. You rigorously measure impact, using data and experimentation to iterate quickly and refine product hypotheses over time. You communicate with precision and empathy, aligning cross-functional stakeholders around a shared vision and building trust through consistent execution. You champion the customer voice while navigating complexity to deliver practical, scalable products that advance our mission.
Key facts
What you'll do
You analyze vast volumes of data to uncover patterns that inform product decisions and reveal opportunities for experimentation. You craft clear product requirements and specifications that guide engineering teams through precise implementation. You conduct user research and synthesize qualitative insights to ensure solutions resonate with diverse customer needs. You collaborate with data scientists to design experiments that test hypotheses and validate product assumptions. You evaluate competitive landscapes and industry trends to identify best practices and strategic advantages. You facilitate workshops and working sessions to align stakeholders on priorities and product vision. You translate technical constraints into actionable product tradeoffs without compromising user experience. You present progress and results to leadership using compelling narratives backed by solid evidence.
Requirements
You bring 8+ years of experience in product management or a related discipline within technology or financial services. You hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience that demonstrates your capabilities. You have a proven track record of delivering measurable outcomes in complex, data-driven environments. You are fluent in core product frameworks, analytics methods, and discovery techniques used to inform decision-making. You understand the lending lifecycle, credit decisioning, and the regulatory environment that governs financial services products. You communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, articulating rationale and tradeoffs clearly. You thrive in ambiguous situations and can make progress with incomplete information while maintaining rigor. You demonstrate empathy, integrity, and a commitment to ethical practices in how you design and propose solutions.
Nice to have
Experience working with AI, machine learning models, or large language systems in product contexts enhances your contribution. Familiarity with underwriting, credit risk, or financial services workflows is a strong advantage. Background in regulated environments where compliance and risk considerations are critical is valued. Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in a digital-first organization has proven valuable. Comfort with data visualization and dashboard tools helps you communicate insights efficiently. Any additional experience that aligns with our mission and product scope will be considered carefully.
Practical notes
This is a remote role based in the United States with no specified time zone constraints. Digital-first collaboration is the norm, supported by asynchronous communication and intentional in-person gatherings. You will receive updates on application timelines and hiring stages through the channels you select. Travel is not required for this role, and there are no in-person interview expectations outlined at this time. The role is designed to be accessible to a wide range of candidates, and no specific tools or certifications are mandated before application.
