The Role

This position entails ownership of the complete lifecycle for a single student interaction. You are responsible for safeguarding context and clarity from the initial message through to final resolution. The quality of your work directly shapes the guidance provided by our AI platform to students across campus. Your role is critical in ensuring that automated dialogue serves its intended purpose effectively and responsibly.

Key Responsibilities

Your daily contributions will focus on several critical domains essential to our platform's success. You will design the initial intake procedures necessary to accurately capture student needs prior to any system development. Constructing scalable conversation flows will be a priority, ensuring these pathways strictly adhere to policy boundaries and reflect the specific context of the campus environment.

A significant part of your role involves meticulously examining system outputs for accuracy, appropriate tone, and strict adherence to established higher education standards. You will work in close coordination with reviewers to guarantee that each platform release aligns precisely with institutional expectations and requirements. Guiding strategic shipping decisions will fall within your scope, ensuring features are delivered to students at the most opportune moments in their academic journey.

Forging strong connections with partner teams is essential to ensure our AI capabilities directly align with the strategic priorities of the university. You will also be tasked with maintaining comprehensive documentation trails that clearly explain underlying design choices and the logic behind compliance measures. Supporting ongoing monitoring activities is crucial to ensure that potential issues are identified and addressed promptly. Translating complex policy rules into clear system behavior that advisors can depend on during student sessions is a core function. Finally, you will champion a culture of continuous improvement by observing real-world interactions and consistently refining our established workflows.

Requirements

Candidates for this role must meet specific professional benchmarks. A mandatory requirement is a minimum of three years of cumulative experience in a similar capacity. A deep understanding of how compliance considerations impact automated dialogue systems is non-negotiable. You must operate with ease and effectiveness when engaging with both highly technical teams and academic stakeholders. Perks and Compensation

The position is based in Buffalo and is structured as a full-time engagement. The compensation package for this role is set at 130,000 USD for the year 2025.
