Clubhouse Engagement Coordinator

About the role

Your primary responsibility is to own the design and delivery of person-centered services that promote hope, autonomy, and empowerment for adult members living with mental illness within the Clubhouse program. You will join a compassionate, mission-driven team committed to resilience, empowerment, and lasting change, working within an inclusive environment that values all backgrounds and perspectives. In this role, you facilitate structured, therapeutic group work that supports vocational skill-building and the formation of meaningful relationships among participants. A core component of your ownership involves completing all required documentation and assisting with member transportation as operational needs dictate. You will partner closely with the Clubhouse team to support connection to natural community resources and the development of independent living skills. This position requires you to coordinate recovery-focused workshops and provide flexible support for employment exploration and entitlement navigation. You will actively shape, evaluate, and improve program operations based on member needs and preferences to ensure the program remains responsive and effective. Your work will directly uphold the principles of psychosocial rehabilitation and recovery within a member-driven environment that prioritizes dignity and choice.

What you'll do

Coordinate and promote person-centered services that emphasize hope, autonomy, and empowerment through individualized Action Plans tailored to member goals. Facilitate structured, therapeutic group work that builds vocational skills and fosters meaningful relationships among members in a supportive environment. Lead recovery-focused workshops and deliver flexible support for employment navigation and entitlement assistance to remove barriers to progress. Complete all mandated documentation and records in a timely and accurate manner to maintain compliance and support continuity of care. Assist with member transportation logistics as required by program operations to ensure reliable access to services and activities. Establish and maintain connections to natural community resources to support holistic well-being and integrate members into broader support networks. Provide support for the development of independent living skills through practical guidance and coaching that enhance daily functioning and self-sufficiency. Actively participate in the shaping, evaluation, and continuous improvement of Clubhouse program operations by gathering feedback and implementing adjustments. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure services align with recovery principles and member preferences through regular communication and shared planning. Uphold the values of resilience, empowerment, and lasting change within an inclusive and compassionate environment that celebrates diversity and promotes belonging.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field is required for this position to ensure a foundational understanding of mental health principles. Must have experience working in a residential setting with adults experiencing severe mental illness to demonstrate practical skills in supportive environments. Must hold a valid Massachusetts driver's license for this role to facilitate transportation coordination and independent travel when needed. Demonstrates a commitment to recovery principles and psychosocial rehabilitation in practice through consistent application of these frameworks. Ability to engage with diverse backgrounds and perspectives in a respectful and inclusive manner to foster a welcoming atmosphere for all members. Willingness to participate in ongoing training, career advancement programs, and leadership development opportunities to enhance skills and effectiveness. Compliance with organizational policies, including those related to documentation and transportation protocols, to maintain standards and accountability. Capacity to work collaboratively within a team-focused, member-driven program structure that values input and shared decision-making. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with members, families, and partner organizations in a professional and empathetic way. Reliability and punctuality are essential to ensure consistent support and maintain trust with stakeholders.

Nice to have

Preferred candidates will have experience supporting employment exploration and job readiness activities to complement the program's vocational focus. Familiarity with community resources and networks in Lynn and surrounding areas is preferred to streamline connections and support seamless referrals. Experience facilitating group workshops or therapeutic sessions is preferred to enhance the delivery of recovery-focused programming. Knowledge of documentation and record-keeping systems relevant to human services is preferred to ensure accuracy and efficiency in administrative tasks. An understanding of trauma-informed care principles is preferred to better support members with diverse and complex needs. Experience working within an accredited day program environment is preferred to align with the established standards and practices of the Clubhouse model.

Location: Lynn.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm.
