Lead Technical Recruiter

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Technical Recruiter to oversee our most challenging recruitment efforts at Taskrabbit, covering roles from senior engineers to executive positions. Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, you will manage the entire recruitment process and influence our hiring strategies. Your extensive experience in technical recruitment will enable you to operate independently and effectively, utilizing data-driven insights and AI tools to enhance our hiring efficiency.

What you'll do

• Manage the complete recruitment process for various roles, focusing on engineering, product, and executive positions.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop hiring strategies, define role requirements, and formulate competitive offers.
• Implement AI solutions to streamline sourcing, outreach, screening, and scheduling, ensuring a swift and quality-driven hiring process.
• Analyze recruitment metrics using Greenhouse to provide coaching to hiring managers and support leadership decisions.
• Create diverse talent pipelines for senior technical roles, particularly targeting passive candidates in the Bay Area.
• Work with the Senior Recruiter and the Talent team to refine our recruitment playbooks, interview processes, and candidate experience.
• Serve as the face of Taskrabbit in all candidate interactions, leaving a lasting impression.

Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, with at least 5 years dedicated to technical hiring (engineering, ML/AI, data, product).
• Proven ability to independently conduct searches across various functions and levels, from individual contributors to executives.
• Experience with AI tools for sourcing, outreach, screening, or scheduling, with demonstrable results (sharing automated workflows is a plus).
• Proficient in interpreting recruiting data, building dashboards, defining KPIs, and using analytics to guide decisions.
• Expertise in Greenhouse or similar applicant tracking systems, including reporting, scorecards, and workflows, along with proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Familiarity with the San Francisco technology landscape; experience in marketplace or consumer tech is advantageous.
• Strong executive presence, capable of challenging senior leaders based on data insights.

Compensation & Benefits

At Taskrabbit, we prioritize a compensation structure that is competitive, transparent, and fair. The total compensation package includes base salary, bonuses, benefits, and additional perks. The base salary for this role ranges from $130,000 to $150,000. This figure reflects only the base salary and does not encompass other potential cash compensation, such as bonuses or benefits. The final offer may vary based on factors like relevant experience, qualifications, location, and level of expertise.
