Senior Software Engineer
Job description
About the role
You will architect and own the technical roadmap for critical Post-Booking domains, defining the multi-quarter strategy for backend and frontend web client ecosystems. You will lead complex, cross-team technical initiatives that directly shape the consumer experience after the initial booking flow is completed. Your primary focus will be building new high-performance Node.js services and AI-driven enhancements that improve the customer journey. You will also spearhead essential replatforming work to modernize our microservice infrastructure and data models. You will act as a Javascript subject-matter expert, mentoring engineers and championing sustainable, high-quality development practices. You will translate ambiguous, high-stakes business goals into clear technical strategies, designs, and experiments for the Taskrabbit marketplace. You will ensure robust, scalable system architecture, APIs, and data models are consistently evolved to meet growing global demand.
