Senior Performance Marketing Manager
Job description
About the role
You will own the end-to-end performance of our inbound paid program, acting as the strategic and operational lead for paid search and secondary channels. You are responsible for driving qualified pipeline through Google Ads and Microsoft Ads while continuously refining LinkedIn and on-site conversion tactics. This role requires you to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution, ensuring every campaign decision is backed by data. You will collaborate closely with Demand Generation and RevOps to align paid efforts with broader revenue goals. Ultimately, you will translate channel performance into measurable business outcomes by increasing Sales-accepted demos and Opportunities. This position is fully remote with specific location-based in-office requirements.
Key facts
What you'll do
Own paid search as the primary pipeline engine by managing the full lifecycle of Google Ads and Microsoft Ads campaigns to generate qualified opportunities.
Carry a pipeline and efficiency mandate that requires you to focus on cost per Opportunity and Sales-accepted demos rather than simple top-of-funnel volume.
Continuously optimize account structure, keywords, bids, budgets, ad copy, and landing pages to improve Quality Scores, conversion rates, and lead quality across all paid channels.
Optimize and tune LinkedIn, including InMail, as a secondary channel by refining targeting to our ICP, cutting waste, and testing high-converting tactics.
Own website conversion rate optimization for inbound paths by running iterative tests on landing pages, forms, and offers in close partnership with Demand Generation and Web teams.
Ensure accurate tracking, attribution, and reporting by maintaining proper implementation in GA4, Google Tag Manager, and CRM systems such as Salesforce and HubSpot.
Deliver bi-weekly performance reporting that covers performance to goal, key insights, learnings, and data-driven next-step recommendations for stakeholders.
Partner with Demand Generation and RevOps to tie advertising spend directly to pipeline and revenue while helping to evaluate and stand up new higher-intent inbound channels as the program scales.
Maintain strict attention to detail and organization to manage multiple campaigns, priorities, and deadlines without sacrificing quality or accuracy.
Communicate findings, strategies, and results clearly in writing and verbally to ensure stakeholders understand performance and recommended actions.
Requirements
You must have spent 7+ years managing and optimizing Google Ads and Microsoft Ads within a performance-driven environment.
You have built a track record of optimizing campaigns for lead quality and pipeline outcomes such as MQL, SQL, Opportunity, and cost per Opp instead of only chasing lead volume.
You possess strong proficiency in campaign analysis, keyword research, bid strategy, and budget management for both search and LinkedIn advertising.
You have developed strong proficiency in website conversion rate optimization, including running iterative tests on landing pages, forms, and offers.
You have built working knowledge of LinkedIn Ads, including audience strategy, bidding methods, creative testing, and the use of InMail for targeted outreach.
You are experienced with analytics and tracking tools, specifically Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and CRM integrations with platforms like Salesforce and HubSpot.
You have built Salesforce reports and dashboards to monitor performance and communicate insights to internal stakeholders.
You apply strong analytical skills to connect channel performance with downstream Lead, MQL, and Opportunity outcomes.
You have set strategy and executed it independently, driving priorities and outcomes with minimal oversight as a sole owner of the program.
You stay highly organized, detail-oriented, and disciplined in both execution and reporting under tight deadlines.
You communicate clearly in writing and verbally, especially when summarizing performance, insights, and next-step recommendations to cross-functional teams.
You have built your performance-marketing experience primarily in a B2B environment, which is a stated preference from the SOURCE.
