Sword Health is building AI-native healthcare solutions to replace traditional, appointment-based care models. We are looking for a senior product leader to drive the development of our clinical platforms and help scale our AI-driven treatment programs. In this capacity, you will own the end-to-end strategy and execution for our clinical product suite, ensuring that our solutions directly address the needs of patients and providers. You will be responsible for defining the vision and roadmap for features that leverage artificial intelligence to deliver measurable clinical outcomes. The role requires you to act as the primary advocate for the user, balancing clinical efficacy with business objectives to create sustainable digital health experiences. You will partner closely with engineering, design, and clinical teams to translate complex requirements into clear, actionable product specifications. Ultimately, your work will determine how effectively we can deploy AI at scale to improve patient engagement and operational efficiency in virtual care delivery.

What you'll do
- Conduct generative user research to uncover latent needs and translate qualitative insights into actionable product requirements.
- Architect the product roadmap for clinical platforms, prioritizing features that maximize patient adherence and clinical impact.
- Analyze large-scale behavioral data using BigQuery to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for product optimization.
- Translate complex AI/LLM concepts into clear requirements, ensuring the Phoenix framework is leveraged to enhance product decision-making.
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment sessions to scope initiatives, clarify technical constraints, and validate feature hypotheses.
- Design and monitor product metrics dashboards in Looker to track the success of new features and iterate based on evidence.
- Draft high-impact product requirements documents that detail user flows, acceptance criteria, and anticipated business value.
- Evaluate the feasibility of proposed features by collaborating with engineering leads on architecture and implementation trade-offs.
- Synthesize feedback from clinical teams and patients to iteratively refine the user experience throughout delivery cycles.
- Prepare executive-level briefings that communicate product progress, risks, and strategic recommendations to leadership stakeholders.
- Champion the adoption of AI capabilities across the product organization to streamline workflows and improve decision quality.
- Partner with operations to ensure that product deployments align with clinical workflows and regulatory expectations.
- Lead the testing of new feature concepts through experiments, analyzing results to inform go/no-go decisions.
- Act as the central coordination point for all product-related activities, ensuring consistency and clarity across teams.
Requirements
- Bring a minimum of 5 years of product management experience, with a focus on B2C digital health, wellness, or behavior change sectors.
- Demonstrate the ability to operate with high autonomy, making senior-level product judgments without constant supervision.
- Exhibit strong technical aptitude, including comfort discussing system architecture and trade-offs with engineering professionals.
- Show a solid understanding of AI and LLM product limitations to ensure realistic expectations and responsible implementation.
- Communicate effectively in writing and speech, tailoring messages for executives, clinicians, and technical audiences.
- Employ a data-driven mindset, defining success metrics, setting up experiments, and rigorously analyzing performance results.
- Approach problem-solving proactively, challenging existing plans when data or ground-level insights suggest alternative paths.
- Hold a valid EU visa and currently reside in Portugal to comply with local employment regulations.
