What you'll do
- Craft and define the essential messaging and positioning that highlight Pulse's unique advantages over competing solutions in the market.
- Create comprehensive materials and frameworks that empower the commercial team to effectively convey the value of Pulse and address competitive inquiries with confidence.
- Actively seek out and explore new market opportunities by leveraging systematic analysis and insights derived from AI-driven intelligence gathering.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product positioning and market strategies.
- Lead initiatives to gather and analyze competitive intelligence, establishing frameworks that enhance our understanding of market dynamics.
- Engage with stakeholders to refine product offerings based on market feedback and competitive landscape.
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies that align with overall business objectives and drive revenue growth.
- Monitor market trends and customer feedback to continually refine messaging and positioning strategies.
- Provide ongoing support and training to the sales team, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to succeed.
- Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the Pulse Leadership Team to drive continuous improvement.
- Serve as a thought leader in the industry, representing Sword Health at conferences and events to promote Pulse and its benefits.
- Analyze performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of marketing strategies and make data-driven adjustments as necessary.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in product marketing or go-to-market roles, showcasing a proven ability in positioning and competitive strategy.
- Strong background in product marketing, go-to-market strategy development, and sales enablement practices.
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with sales and customer success teams to drive product adoption.
- Proven track record of building competitive intelligence frameworks from the ground up, enhancing market understanding.
- This role is designed for an individual contributor who can work independently while contributing to team goals.
Nice to have
- Experience in digital health companies with commercial operations that drive growth.
- Background in high-caliber B2B software or SaaS environments, with a focus on competitive positioning.
- Proven experience in crafting competitive displacement narratives that have successfully improved win rates.
- Familiarity with AI tools for market analysis and opportunity identification, enhancing strategic decision-making.
- Experience in selling to multinational clients, understanding the complexities of diverse markets.
- Previous experience in healthcare, digital health, or employer benefits sectors, providing valuable industry insights.

- Proficiency in AI is essential; candidates should be ready to share concrete examples of how they have utilized AI to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, or integrate AI into business processes.
Practical notes
- The compensation range for this position is between $200,000 and $250,000, which includes base salary, variable compensation, and equity options.
