We are in search of a Customer Solution Architect who will play a vital role in assisting a wide range of clients, from innovative startups to established enterprises, in effectively utilizing the Supabase platform. This position is crucial for comprehending customer requirements and converting them into successful technical solutions that enhance their experience with our services.

What you'll do

• Lead in-depth technical discussions to thoroughly understand both business and technical requirements, establishing clear expectations for the Supabase platform while defining success metrics.
• Create and deliver engaging demonstrations of the Supabase platform, clearly articulating its benefits and value propositions to potential customers.
• Collaborate closely with clients to outline the scope of proof-of-value projects, ensuring they recognize the advantages of the platform while minimizing any risks associated with adoption.
• Support new clients throughout their onboarding journey, utilizing available resources to facilitate a swift deployment and foster growth.
• Develop strategic account plans for key clients, focusing on both immediate objectives and long-term opportunities for optimization and expansion of their use of Supabase.
• Conduct thorough technical assessments, provide guidance on database design and performance optimization, and offer proactive support to help clients scale effectively.
• Serve as a customer advocate within the organization, relaying feedback to Product and Engineering teams while sharing the platform's roadmap with clients.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with customers by gaining insights into their production data stores and ensuring they have confidence in the Supabase platform's capabilities.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Database Engineering, or a similar field is essential.
• Strong knowledge of relational database management systems, particularly PostgreSQL or MySQL, is required.
• Experience in web application development is necessary, with familiarity in programming languages and frameworks such as Python, C#, and JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Svelte), as well as Node.js.
• Excellent communication skills are a must, especially in conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational skills, storytelling ability, and interpersonal skills are crucial for managing a variety of stakeholders effectively.
• Prior experience in leading customer-facing engagements that deliver measurable technical and business outcomes is preferred.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with project management, business analysis, and revenue operations tools, including HubSpot and BigQuery, would be advantageous.
• Experience in cloud-based solutions or platforms similar to Supabase is a plus.
• Knowledge of API integrations and microservices architecture would be beneficial.

Skills & tools

• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and MySQL
• Experience with programming languages such as Python and C#
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks, including React, Vue, and Svelte
• Knowledge of Node.js
• Experience with HubSpot and BigQuery

This position is entirely remote, with no physical office locations. A co-working allowance or WeWork membership is provided to support your work environment.
