Engineering Productivity Engineer
Job description
About the role
In this role, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the daily experiences of engineers, focusing on everything from the initial setup to the deployment of applications in production. Your primary responsibility will involve developing and integrating tools that facilitate local development, streamline code reviews, enhance testing procedures, and improve continuous integration processes. The overarching aim is to minimize friction within the development cycle and optimize workflows for greater efficiency. You will own the lifecycle of internal tooling, ensuring that the solutions you build are adopted and provide tangible value to the engineering organization. This position requires a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and a commitment to removing barriers that slow down engineering teams. You will act as a consultant and partner, working closely with engineers to diagnose workflow inefficiencies and implement robust, scalable fixes. The role demands a proactive approach to identifying pain points and translating them into automated, sustainable improvements that boost overall productivity.
