What you'll do

• Enhance the learning management system by prioritizing user experience, adaptive learning methodologies, and features that foster student engagement.
• Develop innovative career services tools, including generative AI applications that assist with resume crafting and interview preparation.
• Design and maintain internal platforms tailored for instructors, teaching assistants, and operational staff to maximize student success.
• Create and manage content management systems that streamline the generation and updating of educational resources.
• Build and establish robust data pipelines that ensure the availability of critical information for business, educational, and operational teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement technical solutions that meet the evolving needs of our users.
• Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our platform remains competitive and innovative.

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in full-stack software engineering, demonstrating a strong command of both front-end and back-end technologies.
• Proven ability to oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance.
• Proficiency in React and TypeScript for developing engaging front-end applications.
• Experience with back-end technologies such as Python, Node.js, or Ruby on Rails, showcasing versatility in programming languages.
• A strong desire to tackle complex challenges and a commitment to ongoing professional development in new technologies.
• A passion for working in a startup environment, particularly in the early stages of product development and system creation.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in a direct-to-consumer startup, especially within the EdTech or Healthcare sectors, is a plus.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and practices.
• Experience in building scalable applications that can handle a growing user base.

The interview process for this position consists of several stages, beginning with a recruiter screening to assess your fit for the role. This is followed by a technical round lasting approximately 2.45 hours, which includes full-stack and live coding exercises to evaluate your technical skills. Finally, candidates will participate in a 1.5-hour onsite interview, providing an opportunity to meet the team and discuss how you can contribute to our mission.
