What you'll do

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of project goals and objectives.
• Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement, proposing innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units, translating complex technical concepts into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirement specifications, use cases, and process flow diagrams.
• Participate in project planning sessions, providing insights on timelines, resource allocation, and potential risks associated with business requirements.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that delivered solutions meet business needs and quality standards.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather feedback and refine requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
• Support the implementation of new systems and processes, providing training and guidance to end-users as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance the business analysis function within the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that project deliverables align with overall business strategy and objectives.
• Assist in the development of KPIs and metrics to measure the success of implemented solutions and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a business analysis role, preferably within the technology sector.
• Strong understanding of business process modeling and requirements gathering techniques.
• Proficiency in using business analysis tools and methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel, SQL, or similar.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or related fields.
• Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and familiarity with programming concepts.
• Knowledge of specific industry standards and regulations relevant to our business domain.
• Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

Skills & tools

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in business analysis techniques, along with proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, JIRA, Confluence, and Visio. Familiarity with database management systems and programming languages is advantageous. The ability to adapt to new technologies and tools quickly is essential for success in this role.
