Senior HR Business Partner, Revenue

This role defines the people strategy and employee experience for revenue leaders within StackAdapt's Canadian operations. You will design and guide interventions that build trust, enable change, and protect compliance. Your work will focus on enhancing engagement, retention, and operational excellence alongside subject-matter experts across business units.
StackAdapt operates as a remote-first organization. This position is open to candidates based in Canada and involves full-time remote collaboration with revenue leadership teams located in the country.
What you will do
You will champion People policies and procedures, ensuring managers understand and apply guidelines and best practices for their teams. Investigating complex employee relations matters, you will provide clear guidance to both staff and leadership while maintaining a fair and consistent approach. Coaching leaders on engagement initiatives will be central to your work, with a focus on satisfaction, well-being, and organizational performance.
Implementing change management interventions in partnership with internal experts will support retention and professional development across the revenue organization. You will conduct surveys and analyze data to uncover insights that drive measurable improvements in employee experience. Building trusted relationships with stakeholders will allow you to align HR strategies with business objectives specific to Canadian operations.
You will regularly review processes and workflows to confirm ongoing adherence to employment laws and regulations. Cross-functional collaboration will enable you to drive key business results through coordinated HR strategies and practical solutions.
What you will bring to the table
Candidates must hold four to six years of progressive HR experience, including at least four years in a business partner role. A professional HR certification, such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR, is expected and demonstrates advanced knowledge in the field. You should be skilled in developing and executing HR initiatives that enhance organizational performance.
Strong employee relations knowledge and direct experience managing complex issues are required. The ability to influence senior leaders and stakeholders while operating in a complex, fast-paced environment is essential. Compensation and location
The compensation range for this role is $120,000 to $160,000 annually. This range is based on the expected base salary for candidates located in Canada and is informed by market data and internal budget considerations.

Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, with a Master's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field being a significant advantage.
- Possess a minimum of four to six years of progressive Human Resources experience, with a demonstrated history of increasing responsibility.
- Have at least four years of hands-on experience in a business partner role, supporting complex organizational units.
- Hold a valid professional HR certification such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or CHRP, which signifies a mastery of the profession.
- Demonstrate expert-level knowledge of employment law and regulations specific to the province of Ontario and other relevant Canadian jurisdictions.
- Show a proven track record of managing complex employee relations cases, including investigations and remediation plans.
- Exhibit strong proficiency in using HR information systems (HRIS) and human capital management (HCM) platforms.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of influencing C-level stakeholders.
