Senior People Data and Insights Analyst
StackAdapt seeks a Senior People Data and Insights Analyst to define the future of our workforce through data. This role operates within a remote-first environment open to candidates located in Canada. The selected candidate will transform complex workforce data into strategic narratives that guide executive decision-making and shape organizational people programs.
Compensation for this position ranges from 130,000 to 150,000 USD annually. This range reflects the expected base salary for candidates located in Canada and is informed by market data and approved budget. Final offers will be aligned to the candidate's current location. This role represents a salaried position and does not include details on other potential components of compensation.
The People Analytics team requires a strategic architect capable of handling imperfect data and delivering clear, actionable insight. You will serve as the primary bridge between raw talent data and C-level decision-making. Success in this role requires fluency in advanced analytics, data storytelling, and the responsible application of artificial intelligence. You will own the analytical lifecycle from data ingestion to insight delivery.
What You'll Be Doing
You will orchestrate the intake of workforce data to define precise analytical requirements in partnership with HR leaders. This involves translating business needs into technical specifications for analytics initiatives.
You will craft build strategies that develop LLM models and NLP pipelines specifically designed for people analytics challenges. This work will use scalable AI driven solutions to generate insights.
You will direct review cycles that rigorously validate data quality and compliance standards for sensitive employee information. This ensures all people data meets governance and regulatory requirements.
You will ship dashboards that reveal workforce trends and patterns. These tools will support high impact organizational decisions by delivering rapid analytics to business stakeholders.
You will partner with enterprise data teams to integrate HRIS, ATS, and LMS feeds into the data lake house. This integration work ensures that all employee data flows reliably and securely.
You will establish governance frameworks that ensure responsible data usage across all platforms and teams. This includes defining policies for data handling, access, and privacy.
You will design dimensional models that enhance reporting performance and dashboard responsiveness. This includes building and maintaining data structures optimized for analytical workloads.
You will guide partners toward self service analytics through automated workflows built in Snowflake and dbt. This reduces ad-hoc requests and empowers business users.
What You'll Bring to the Table
You hold proven experience analyzing workforce data inside fast growing, high-tech organizations. Your background should include real examples of people analytics projects that influenced organizational outcomes.
You communicate complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You can distill intricate analyses into compelling stories that drive action.
You build and maintain production grade data pipelines using SQL and Python. Your technical skills include working with databases, data warehousing, and modern data stacks.
You have a history of collaborating with HR teams to deliver executive level reporting on People data. You understand the nuances of HR metrics and workforce planning.
You understand ethical AI applications in people analytics. You are committed to responsible data use, transparency, and fairness in analytical models.
You manage multiple priorities independently with a self directed approach. You thrive in ambiguous situations and maintain focus on delivering high quality results.
Nice to have experience with LLM and NLP models applied to workforce challenges. Demonstrated work in this area would be considered a significant advantage.
Skills & tools required for success include dbt, Snowflake, SQL, Python, HRIS, LMS, Talent Management, and ATS. You should be comfortable moving between technical implementation and business strategy.
