This role owns the flow of launch vehicle electronic systems from intake through to shipout. The manager designs daily tactics that serve long term manifest goals and turns cross department constraints into coordinated action. You will translate strategic manifest commitments into executable plans that drive the movement of electronic systems. You will act as the central nervous system between engineering intent and shop floor reality. The manager ensures that every schedule decision aligns with the broader mission cadence and technical feasibility. You will continuously adapt plans to navigate technical, capacity, and logistical realities.

You will chart intake streams and route vendor data into usable signals that guide execution. You will architect build sequence schedules that respect material limits and capacity constraints. You will conduct review checkpoints that expose risk before it reaches the factory floor. You will execute shipping controls that keep line velocity aligned with launch cadence. You will forge partner protocols that synchronize planning across facilities and teams. You will guard quality gates while adjusting plans against evolving priorities. You will orchestrate inventory moves that balance responsiveness with cost control. You will support supplier development that strengthens capability and reduces bottlenecks. You will maintain rigorous data integrity to ensure decisions are based on current truth. You will drive continuous improvement by analyzing metrics and refining planning logic.

Requirements

You must hold at least three years of relevant planning experience in a demanding environment. You must manage high complexity systems under strict timeline pressure. You must communicate clearly with technical and manufacturing stakeholders. You must handle concurrent tasks and shifting requirements with discipline. You must demonstrate strong analytical skills to interpret data and forecast needs. You must be comfortable working within a fast paced and evolving operational landscape. You must adhere to all company policies and safety standards without compromise. You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. You must be available to work in the state of California as required by the position.

Experience with electronic systems supply chains is preferred for this position.

Practical notes

This role integrates directly with engineering and manufacturing departments within an in-house integration environment. Supply chain planners in this position see their assemblies come to life on a day-to-day basis. The functions within supply chain management include material requirements planning, delivery management, dock to stock coordination, and inventory management. This position plays an integral role in enabling production flow and supporting launch manifest and key developmental goals. You should be prepared for a full-time schedule during the work week. The position may involve travel within the Hawthorne, California area as operational needs dictate. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of any required background checks and authorization to work in the United States. No sponsorship is available for work authorization at this time. The role reports to a senior manager within the launch vehicle organization.
