Sourgum is looking for a Demand Generation Manager to join our marketing team in Jersey City, NJ. This on-site position plays a vital role in creating and executing marketing campaigns that increase brand awareness, generate high-quality leads, and support our revenue growth objectives. You will work closely with sales, content, product, and digital marketing teams to develop a scalable demand generation engine that produces measurable results. Key facts
What you'll do
- Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel demand generation campaigns, including email marketing, paid media advertising, webinars, account-based marketing (ABM), and content syndication efforts to reach targeted audiences effectively.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to define target audiences, develop ideal customer profiles, and align lead generation strategies with pipeline and revenue goals.
- Manage and refine marketing automation workflows and lead nurturing programs to ensure high engagement and conversion rates.
- Monitor, measure, and report on campaign performance metrics such as marketing qualified leads (MQLs), cost per lead (CPL), conversion rates, and return on investment (ROI), providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Own and oversee paid advertising channels, including LinkedIn, Google Ads, and display networks, to maximize reach and lead quality.
- Partner with content marketing to develop assets such as whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, and landing pages that support campaign objectives and resonate with target audiences.
- Continuously test and iterate on messaging, creative elements, targeting parameters, and campaign tactics to improve overall performance and efficiency.
- Ensure accurate lead tracking, attribution, and data integrity within customer relationship management (CRM) systems and marketing automation tools like HubSpot.
- Support the development of marketing strategies that contribute to overall revenue growth, aligning campaigns with broader company objectives.
- Work cross-functionally with sales, product, and operations teams to ensure marketing efforts are integrated and aligned with company priorities.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize campaign spend and resource allocation, ensuring maximum impact and efficiency.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging marketing technologies, and best practices to keep our demand generation efforts innovative and competitive.
- Assist in developing reporting dashboards and presentations to communicate campaign results and insights to stakeholders.
- Contribute to the ongoing refinement of marketing processes and workflows to improve scalability and effectiveness.
- Support the onboarding and training of team members on marketing tools and best practices as needed.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience in B2B demand generation, growth marketing, or digital marketing roles, preferably within a technology-driven environment.
- Proficiency with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems, especially HubSpot, with a strong understanding of automation workflows and lead management.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze campaign data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions to improve marketing performance.
- Experience managing and optimizing paid media campaigns across platforms such as LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, and display networks.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively across teams and present campaign insights clearly.
- Knowledge of SEO, SEM, landing page optimization, and A/B testing methodologies to enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to experimentation, testing, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with marketing metrics and KPIs used to evaluate campaign success and inform strategic decisions.
- Experience in a startup or high-growth environment is a plus, as is familiarity with the waste or recycling industry.
