What you'll do
- Coordinate all logistical elements for public sector events, which may include conferences, roundtables, and specialized programs.
- Organize and oversee meetings for the Public Sector sales team with prospective clients, existing customers, and strategic partners.
- Keep precise calendars, scheduling trackers, and timelines to ensure the Public Sector team remains organized and efficient.
- Track meeting statuses, confirm participant attendance, and manage follow-up actions before, during, and after events.
- Work closely with Public Sector sales representatives, Market Development Representatives (MDRs), and account executives to ensure alignment on meeting objectives and logistical requirements.
- Facilitate smooth transitions following events by documenting meeting results, outlining next steps, and assigning follow-up tasks in relevant systems.
- Support pre-event and post-event communication efforts in collaboration with the Public Sector and MDR teams.
- Assist in creating post-event reports that detail attendance, meetings conducted, completion of follow-ups, and initial pipeline data.
- Participate in additional field marketing projects as business needs change and evolve.
- Prepare and present a comprehensive summary at the conclusion of the internship, highlighting your project insights and recommendations.
Requirements
- Must be located in the Washington D.C. area.
- Currently enrolled in or have recently completed a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline.
- Possess strong organizational capabilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working collaboratively with sales and marketing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to juggle multiple tasks and adjust quickly to changing, event-driven scenarios.
- Be proactive, resourceful, and focused on executing tasks effectively.
- Have a genuine interest in B2B marketing, event marketing, account-based marketing, or sales-related pipeline generation.

- Experience with tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Apollo, Outreach, or Salesloft would be beneficial.
