About the role

This role centers on hosting heartfelt, on-camera conversations for PrayerSong, where your compassion and faith become the foundation for turning personal stories into musical keepsakes. You will own the entire conversational experience, guiding individuals through vulnerable storytelling while ensuring they feel seen, heard, and respected. The hire is responsible for embodying PrayerSong's mission in every interaction, representing the platform with warmth, humility, and unwavering authenticity. You will directly shape how faith, hope, and transformation are shared by asking thoughtful questions that draw out the emotional core of each story. Part of this ownership includes identifying people within your own circles who are ready to share their journey and trusting God to lead those connections. You will collaborate closely with the PrayerSong team and Snowball partners to refine each story for its highest good. Ultimately, this position is about stewarding moments that change lives, helping others encounter God's work in their story through music and shared testimony.

What you'll do

• Host on-camera conversations with individuals sharing personal stories of faith, hope, and transformation in a gentle, grounded manner.
• Help uncover the heart of each story so it can be transformed into a meaningful PrayerSong for both the storyteller and the person receiving it as a lasting gift.
• Facilitate and capture emotional moments with sensitivity, ensuring both the storyteller and their chosen recipient experience the PrayerSong together with dignity.
• Create a safe, welcoming space where people feel comfortable opening up, free from judgment and filled with grace.
• Listen with deep empathy and ask thoughtful follow-up questions that allow people to tell their stories authentically and without pressure.
• Represent PrayerSong's mission through warmth, compassion, and authenticity in every interaction, reflecting Christian love in word and action.
• Help identify and connect PrayerSong with individuals in your church, local community, or personal network who may be willing to share their stories on camera in obedience to God's leading.
• Collaborate with the PrayerSong and Snowball teams throughout production, aligning creative decisions with the mission and values of the platform.
• Manage your schedule with intentionality, communicating proactively with the production team to meet commitments and maintain consistency.
• Support the vision of Snowball as the strategic YouTube partner by contributing to channel growth and creative development in alignment with shared goals.
• Complete a trial assignment when invited, including a street- or community-style interview similar to referenced formats, to demonstrate natural conversational ability.
• Receive a custom PrayerSong for the trial assignment, valued at $200, as a token of appreciation for your time and effort.
• Continue in the role at a monthly compensation of $2,000 to $9,000, dependent on availability and the number of videos produced each month.
• Partner with the team to ensure each story is handled with care, from initial conversation through final musical expression and delivery.

• You must possess excellent listening and communication skills, allowing you to respond with clarity, patience, and kindness.
• You must be comfortable speaking on camera and able to maintain presence during both planned and spontaneous conversation.
• You must be highly dependable, showing up consistently and prepared for each conversation and collaboration.
• You must be compassionate and emotionally mature, able to hold space for pain, joy, and everything in between.
• You must be aligned with PrayerSong's mission, demonstrating through your life and choices a commitment to love, hope, and human connection.
• No professional hosting, media, journalism, acting, or content creation experience is required or expected for this role.

• Experience leading small groups, mentoring, or participating in ministry and community outreach with integrity.
• Existing relationships within your church or community that may help identify people willing to share their stories on camera.

This opportunity is available in the United States and is fully remote, allowing you to serve from wherever God has placed you. The engagement is full-time, requiring consistent availability and reliable communication. If invited to complete the trial assignment, you will be given detailed guidance to ensure clarity and confidence in the process. Compensation for the trial is a custom PrayerSong valued at $200, and monthly pay ranges from $2,000 to $9,000 based on availability and video output.
