Primary responsibilities include developing, mentoring, and guiding a high-performing sales team to achieve and surpass established targets within clinics and health system environments. The director is accountable for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, specifically focusing on onboarding new employer groups and forging partnerships with health system stakeholders to broaden patient access routes. This involves designing and structuring team architectures that effectively align the interests of providers, employers, and commercial partners around the shared value of longevity services. A core function of the role is the analysis and interpretation of pipeline and performance data. The director must use these insights to maintain accurate, forward-looking regional forecasts and growth strategies. Residence or the ability to work legally within the state of Arizona is a mandatory requirement for this position.
The role offers a fixed annual compensation package of 180,000 USD and is classified as salary exempt. What you'll do
Execute the full sales cycle within assigned territories, encompassing discovery, needs analysis, solution presentation, and negotiation to secure new enterprise agreements with health systems and employer groups.
Architect and own the strategic sales plan for the region, translating corporate objectives into actionable team targets, pipeline expectations, and performance metrics.
Develop, coach, and mentor a team of Regional Sales Managers and Sales Representatives, driving skill development, performance improvement, and career growth.
Analyze complex market data, pipeline health, and competitive dynamics to refine sales strategies, adjust resource allocation, and optimize territory coverage.
Champion the longevity and preventative care value proposition with clinical and executive stakeholders, positioning SimonMed as a partner of choice for population health and proactive medicine.
Establish and nurture high-level relationships with key decision-makers, including physician group leaders, hospital executives, benefits managers, and strategic advisors.
Identify and pursue new business development opportunities, focusing on the onboarding of new employer groups and the expansion of existing health system partnerships.
Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery, aligning clinical operations, marketing support, and referral processes with sales commitments.
Design and deploy targeted outreach campaigns and educational initiatives to influence clinical decision-makers and accelerate buyer group engagement in the longevity market.
Safeguard the SimonMed brand by ensuring all sales activities, messaging, and documentation adhere to established service frameworks and regulatory guidelines.
Monitor and report on competitive activity, market trends, and customer feedback to inform leadership strategy and product positioning adjustments.
Own the forecasting and pipeline management process, providing transparent, data-driven updates to senior leadership on regional performance and growth trajectory.
Champion a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales organization to exceed revenue and retention goals.
Leverage advanced negotiation and consultative selling techniques to structure mutually beneficial agreements that support long-term customer success.

Requirements
Demonstrate a minimum of three years of proven sales leadership experience within the healthcare industry or a closely adjacent sector, with a track record of managing teams that exceed performance targets.
Possess a comprehensive understanding of sales management principles, including pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and quota attainment strategies.
Showcase a history of developing and executing strategic sales plans that result in sustainable revenue growth and market share expansion.
