What you'll do
- You will manage the location aspect of Hybrid (2 days WFH/ 3 days in office) for your work schedule.
- You will execute the ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS required for the finance department.
- Demonstrate a high level of competency in the performance of job-related skills appropriate to his/her customer populations and departmental services.
- Handle extensive experience with balance sheet reconciliations for many accounts across multiple companies.
- Apply a deep Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (U.S. GAAP) to all financial tasks.
- Utilize Familiarity with internal control concepts and procedures, with public/private company mixed experience being a preferred background.
- Leverage Strong excel experience at an intermediate to advanced level, including mastery of pivot tables and lookup functions.
- Process core responsibilities including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
- Undertake tasks such as recording deposits, reviewing G/L accounts for reasonableness on a monthly basis, and preparing cash collections reports.
- Perform duties such as maintaining unclaimed property records, assisting with accounts payable as needed, and managing mail distribution.
- Take ownership of operating lease schedule maintenance and other related administrative duties.
- Analyze financial trends, costs, revenues, and obligations to predict future revenues and expenses effectively.
- Prepare other ad hoc reporting to support management inquiries and special projects.
- Report on the organization's finances to management, offering strategic suggestions regarding resource utilization and tax strategies.
- Contribute to the development of budget forecasts by analyzing underlying assumptions and financial data.
