About the role
You will provide full implementation and sustainment support for Navy ERP/SAP across both functional and technical domains as a key Navy ERP SME. You will actively support Business Process Reengineering (BPR) efforts, including the creation of as-is and to-be process maps, defining business rules, and developing operational handbooks. You will craft and deliver presentations, training materials, and demonstrations, while effectively leading and facilitating meetings with stakeholders at various organizational levels. You will create detailed operational artifacts such as desk guides, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), formal policies, and user guidance documents. You will develop test data, construct comprehensive test plans, and author detailed test cases and scripts to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT). You will provide end-to-end SAP SME support throughout the entire project lifecycle, encompassing design, development, testing, cutover activities, catch-up periods, go-live operations, and post go-live virtual and on-site support (OSS), as well as broader sustainment activities. You will ensure adherence to strict security protocols and travel commitments as required for this critical Navy ERP implementation.

- Author Desk Guides, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Policies, and Guidance documentation for end-users.
- Generate test data, build robust test plans, and create detailed test cases and scripts for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Offer comprehensive ERP Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for design, development, testing, cutover, catch-up, go-live, and post go-live phases.
- Provide virtual and on-site support (OSS) and engage in sustainment activities following go-live operations.
- Manage end-to-end SAP lifecycle support in alignment with Navy ERP project objectives and timelines.
- Ensure all deliverables meet the high standards of quality and compliance required for federal defense projects.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and optimize business processes.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication regarding project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.
- Apply expertise in Navy ERP modules to guide configuration and integration requirements accurately.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing system performance and user adoption.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
- Must be available to work primarily Remote and travel approximately 25% within the Continental United States.
- Must possess or be immediately eligible for a US Department of Defense Secret-level Security Clearance.
- Must have the right to work in the United States and not require sponsorship for employment.
- Must have a proven track record of supporting ERP implementations within a federal or Department of Defense environment.
- Must demonstrate extensive functional and technical expertise across SAP and Navy ERP modules and scenarios.
- Must have experience with Finance and Controlling (FI/CO), Funds Management (FM), Asset Management (AM), and Project Systems (PS).
- Must have hands-on knowledge of Sales & Distribution (SD), Workforce Management (HCM/WFM), and Materials Management (MM).
- Must be proficient in Inventory Management and Warehouse Management (IM/WM) as well as Acquire to Dispose (A2D) processes.
- Must understand Budget to Authorize (B2A), Check In to Check Out (C2C), Plan to Perform (P2Pf), Plan to Pay (P2Py), and Post to Report (P2R) scenarios.
- Must be capable of supporting Business Process Reengineering (BPR), including creating as-is and to-be process maps.
- Must be able to develop business rules and create operational handbooks for end-users.
- Must have the ability to create and deliver presentations, training materials, and demonstrations.
- Must be skilled in leading and facilitating meetings with stakeholders at various organizational levels.
- Must have experience developing desk guides, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), formal policies, and guidance documentation.
- Must be able to create test data, test plans, and detailed test cases and scripts for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Must provide end-to-end SAP SME support through design, development, testing, cutover, catch-up, go-live, and sustainment.
- Must be willing to commit to the specified travel requirements within the Continental United States.
