This role owns the end-to-end product journey from initial design concepts through production launch and iteration. You will collaborate closely with product, UX design, and backend teams to translate complex data capabilities into intuitive workflows. You will pioneer new interaction techniques that radically simplify analytics for non-technical business users. What you'll do

• Architect and implement responsive user interfaces using modern frontend technologies, owning the complete product lifecycle from design mockups to production deployment.
• Partner with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to conceive and deliver new features that deliver outstanding user experiences for non-technical audiences.
• Translate complex business requirements into elegant frontend solutions that integrate seamlessly with GraphQL and data visualization layers.
• Develop high-performance data visualizations and interactive components that handle large-scale datasets with fluid interactivity and zero lag.
• Drive innovation in frontend application architecture by evaluating and adopting modern frameworks like React, GraphQL, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and scalability to ensure smooth user interactions across diverse datasets and use cases.
• Implement reusable component libraries and design systems that enable consistent user experiences across all Sigma products and features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical specifications and ensure frontend implementations align with backend APIs.
• Mentor junior engineers on frontend best practices, code quality, and user-centric design principles.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of craftsmanship, reliability, and maintainability across the codebase.
• Investigate and prototype new frontend technologies to solve complex data interaction challenges and improve time-to-insight.
• Work closely with SRE and platform teams to ensure robust deployment pipelines and monitoring for frontend applications.
• Contribute to technical documentation that enables other teams to effectively use and extend frontend capabilities.
• Support the product roadmap by delivering incremental improvements that drive user engagement and satisfaction.
• Act as a technical leader in defining frontend standards and patterns that influence the long-term direction of Sigma's platform.

Requirements

• Bring 5+ years of industry experience building and maintaining high-quality software applications from conception to production.
• Demonstrate a strong eye for design and a passion for building products that deliver exceptional user experiences and solve real business problems.
• Show the ability to make thoughtful trade-offs between functionality and delivery speed to support customer value while iterating based on feedback.
• Exhibit a desire to be a great teammate who brings fun to the workplace without compromising ownership and accountability for your work.

• Base salary range for this position is $170,000 - $240,000 annually and may vary based on qualifications and experience.
