What you'll do
You will own a territory comprised of named digital native companies in the Mid-Market space, taking full responsibility for their strategic engagement. You must conduct deep account planning and develop whitespace strategies that uncover new value and expansion opportunities. Maintaining, creating, and updating accurate customer, pipeline, and forecast information in Salesforce will be essential for your success. Utilizing a deep knowledge of the data and analytics space, you will interact with a diverse set of businesses in a consultative sales capacity. Owning your sales process from the first call through demo, proposal, proof of concept, and contract execution will be a core responsibility. You will work alongside a team of motivated representatives on a high-functioning, energetic team that thrives on collaboration. Bringing on new customers and developing advocates for Sigma within the business intelligence market will define your impact. Engaging with partners in the data ecosystem will be necessary to build pipeline or support specific customer needs and initiatives. Generating new revenue for a rapidly growing company will be a primary measure of your performance. Travel is a key part of this role as needed, with expectations to engage directly with companies across the Bay Area and the West Coast, where being on-site is where the most important decisions are made.
Requirements
You ideally possess 4+ years of experience closing deals, demonstrating a proven history of sales success. A motor to prospect is non-negotiable, requiring activity in cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and other creative methods. Experience in the data space, including Warehouses, Pipelines, and Analytics, is preferred for this role. Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, POVs, and Sandler is expected. A background in high-tech software sales is preferred to navigate complex enterprise environments. You must have a track record of success in pipeline generation and quota attainment, proving consistent performance. Partnership and co-selling experience is preferred to maximize deal impact. You must be a team player, hustler, and all-around sales superstar who thrives in collaborative settings. Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area or be willing to relocate to meet the role's geographic demands.
Practical notes
You will be expected to work in the office four days a week, ensuring you are immersed in a fast-moving environment where decisions are made and deals are won. The office culture is described as passionate, collaborative, and rewarding, requiring your full engagement. Travel is expected locally to the Bay Area and to the west coast 25% of the time, with encouragement for in-person meetings with prospects, customers, and partners. You will be contributing to a company that reached $200M in annual recurring revenue in April 2026, with more than 100% year-over-year growth and 1.1 million new active users added in the latest fiscal year. This role is eligible for a base salary range of $100 - $130k annually, with compensation varying based on qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. This role is also eligible for variable pay based on goal achievement, stock options, and a comprehensive benefits package. The opportunity follows a Series E financing round led by Princeville Capital, with strategic investors including Databricks Ventures, ServiceNow Ventures, and Workday Ventures. You will be joining a customer base that includes AMD, Duolingo, Colgate-Palmolive, and JPMorgan Chase, operating on a platform built on the cloud data warehouse. The role requires in-office work in San Francisco, as well as in offices in NYC, London, and Sydney, reflecting the company's global presence. The hiring process utilizes artificial intelligence tools to assist in candidate screening and assessment, designed to complement human decision-making.
