About the role
In this position, you will focus on value marketing within the Business Value Services team at Sigma Computing. Your primary responsibility will be to transform customer outcomes into compelling evidence that supports the sales and marketing efforts of Sigma Computing. You will work closely with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to develop content and initiatives that showcase the tangible benefits customers have achieved using Sigma's platform. The role involves developing strategies to generate customer references, manage advocacy programs, and produce engaging content that highlights customer success stories. Your efforts will directly contribute to strengthening Sigma's market position by demonstrating real-world value and building trust with prospective clients.

What you'll do
- Develop and manage a systematic approach to converting customer success stories into various marketing materials, including case studies, videos, and testimonials, ensuring a consistent flow of high-quality content for use in sales and marketing campaigns.
- Expand the pool of referenceable customers by identifying satisfied clients willing to share their experiences, and oversee the customer advocacy program to leverage their stories effectively.
- Identify and prepare customer speakers for major industry events such as Snowflake Summit and Databricks DAIS, ensuring they are well-positioned to share their success stories and insights.
- Lead the organization and execution of the Sigma User Meetups webinar series, engaging with the user community and sharing customer success stories to foster brand loyalty and demonstrate value.
- Drive efforts to increase the quantity and improve the quality of customer reviews on platforms like G2 and Gartner Peer Insights, ensuring Sigma maintains a strong reputation in the industry.
- Manage initiatives like the "Built with Sigma" awards, encouraging customers to recognize and showcase their achievements using Sigma's platform, thereby strengthening customer relationships and generating positive publicity.
- Collaborate with Business Value Services to develop and facilitate the Customer Advisory Board, gathering insights from key customers to inform product development and identify new sales opportunities.
- Incorporate customer success stories into the company's website, sales collateral, presentations, and other marketing resources to maximize their impact.
- Utilize AI tools and systems to streamline the drafting, editing, and distribution of marketing content, ensuring efficient workflows and timely delivery of materials.
- Work cross-functionally with sales, product, and marketing teams to ensure alignment of messaging and maximize the impact of customer stories and proof points.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of content and advocacy programs, making data-driven adjustments to improve engagement and outcomes.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in B2B SaaS value marketing, customer advocacy, customer success, or related fields.
- Proven ability to create compelling proof points and references that resonate with potential customers and support sales efforts.
- Strong storytelling and writing skills, with the ability to craft narratives that highlight customer outcomes and business value.
- Experience with AI tools and a proactive approach to building workflows that leverage technology for efficiency.
- Proficiency in data analysis, with the ability to interpret analytics data from various sources without extensive guidance.
- Demonstrated success in managing customer relationships and engaging with executive stakeholders to secure references and testimonials.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments, including sales, marketing, and product teams, to ensure alignment and maximize impact.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex ideas and customer stories.

Practical notes
The annual base salary for this role ranges from $126,000 to $148,000, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications. Compensation may vary based on skills, background, and performance. The role includes stock options and a comprehensive benefits package.
