About the role
This role partners with a purpose-driven team to expand the impact of Shopmonkey Payments for automotive shops. Success in this position depends on driving payment adoption and growth for existing customers. You own the end-to-end adoption journey for associate-level payment products, orchestrating outreach, education, and support for partner shops. This position requires ownership of key metrics and the ability to translate complex payment flows into clear, actionable guidance for shop owners. You will act as a bridge between product strategy and frontline execution, ensuring that payment solutions are understood and utilized effectively. Written communication is a core responsibility, as decisions are often recorded and revisited in documentation. The ideal candidate thrives in an environment where habits such as taking notes, keeping commitments, and communicating in writing directly contribute to team scalability. You will make it easy for cross-functional partners to review and build upon your work by maintaining clarity and structure in all deliverables.

What you'll do
Analyze payment rates across internal and competitor offerings to identify the most efficient structure for each shop. Collaborate with leadership to design and execute plans that grow payment volume and impact for partner shops. Maintain consistent follow-up to support customer success with Shopmonkey Payments. Build deep expertise in the Shopmonkey product suite, the automotive services industry, and competitive market trends. Manage the CRM to ensure accurate tracking and engagement with every shop. Achieve and exceed monthly quotas and daily key performance indicators. Drive adoption of embedded payment solutions through hands-on guidance and workflow optimization. Remove roadblocks by coordinating with internal stakeholders to resolve customer issues quickly. Document payment workflows and adoption strategies to create reusable resources for the team. Support the rollout of new payment features by training shop owners and internal staff as needed.
Requirements
Experience working in B2B SaaS and embedded payments environments.
Willingness to collaborate actively and lead by example in cross-functional settings.
Demonstrated ability to handle objections and remove potential roadblocks for customers.
Honesty and authenticity when supporting customers through their payment workflows.
Resourcefulness and adaptability in response to feedback and changing priorities.
Strong interpersonal skills and a professional, friendly demeanor on phone calls.
Capacity to clearly explain the value proposition of payment products at any level of detail or brevity.
Drive to grow within the organization and pursue long-term career development.
