About the role
About the role Scopely is looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to join the Playgami team, which builds a SaaS gaming platform focused on game production, operation, and insights. You will help create self-serve data products that handle petabyte-scale workloads while supporting game teams across mobile, web, and PC platforms. Key facts

Team: Playgami What you'll do
Partner with engineers, product managers, and analysts to build scalable, accurate self-serve insight tools
Own the full data product lifecycle from tracking plan design through data modeling, ELT pipeline development, and dashboard creation in Looker
Maintain data quality standards and ensure metrics remain consistent across all data products
Provide technical guidance to game product teams, helping improve their workflows and outcomes
Contribute deep expertise in one area of the data stack while supporting work across the entire pipeline
Coach teammates and promote best practices throughout the group Requirements - 5 or more years of experience in data analytics or data engineering roles
Strong SQL proficiency
Hands-on experience with modern data stack tools such as BigQuery, Snowflake, dbt, Looker, Airflow, GitHub, and command line workflows
Solid grasp of data modeling concepts including Kimball methodology and star schemas
Ability to convert business requirements into practical analytics solutions
Comfortable working in fast-paced, growth-focused environments
Collaborative mindset with a focus on team success Nice to have
