Scopely is seeking a Talent Partner to attract, engage, and hire exceptional talent across Engineering, Data, AI/ML, Marketing and Technical Product functions. What you'll do
- Own and manage the full lifecycle recruiting process for technical roles across the organization, from intake through offer acceptance, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Partner closely with Engineering, Product, Data, AI/ML, and Technology leaders to understand current and future talent needs and develop strategic, long-term hiring plans.
- Source and engage top technical talent through proactive market mapping, targeted networking, employee referrals, and advanced direct sourcing methodologies.
- Build and maintain robust passive candidate pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill technical roles, reducing time-to-fill and enhancing optionality.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to hiring managers by providing up-to-date talent market insights, competitive intelligence, and data-driven recommendations on hiring strategies.
- Develop and execute creative sourcing approaches to identify and attract top engineering, data, and technical talent in a competitive landscape.
- Evaluate candidate backgrounds, technical experience, and career trajectories against precise role requirements and nuanced team dynamics.
- Ensure an exceptional candidate experience through consistent communication, radical transparency, and meticulous process management at every stage.
- Partner with interview teams to drive objective calibration, alignment on hiring criteria, and the implementation of high-quality assessment practices.
- Manage offer development, negotiation, and closing activities while collaborating closely with Compensation, HR, and business leaders to finalize decisions.
- Leverage data and recruiting metrics to identify systemic improvements, optimize hiring outcomes, and enhance the overall effectiveness of recruitment processes.
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, AI-enabled recruiting practices, and the evolving technical talent market to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements
- 4+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, preferably within gaming, technology, software, AI/ML, or high-growth environments that demand rapid adaptation.
- Demonstrated success recruiting for Engineering, Data Science, IT/Security, Technical Product, or other related technical functions in complex technology domains.
- Strong passive candidate sourcing capabilities and proven experience building talent pipelines for highly competitive technical markets where top performers are rarely job searching.
- Ability to assess technical talent and understand software development processes, diverse engineering disciplines, and evolving technical career paths to match skills accurately.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders and hiring managers to co-create hiring strategies, influence talent decisions, and align on success metrics.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills with the capacity to establish credibility, trust, and influence across all levels of a large, matrixed organization.
- Excellent interviewing, candidate assessment, and closing skills that ensure a fair, consistent, and high-quality evaluation of technical capabilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent searches, prioritize effectively, and maintain quality under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage recruiting metrics, analyze trends, and use insights to drive decisions that improve hiring velocity and quality.
- Experience working within an in-house Talent Acquisition team is preferred, providing exposure to unique challenges and operational nuances of internal recruiting.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, with a preference for candidates who can demonstrate continuous learning and professional development.
- Preferred Experience: Familiarity with modern AI development methodologies and AI-enabled workflows to better assess and source specialized technical talent.
- Preferred Experience: Experience using advanced sourcing tools, talent intelligence platforms, and AI-assisted recruiting technologies to scale sourcing efforts and improve precision.
