About the role
The Integration Team serves as the critical technical bridge that enables customers to deploy Sardine's fraud, risk, and compliance products rapidly and successfully. In this Solutions Architect, Integrations role, you will own the complete lifecycle of client implementations from initial discovery through production deployment and support. You will act as the primary technical partner for customers, translating complex business requirements into scalable integration designs that leverage Sardine's platform capabilities. This position demands extreme ownership of APIs, webhooks, data mapping, and event-driven workflows to ensure high-quality, reliable delivery. You will resolve production issues proactively and drive best-in-class implementation experiences that build trust and accelerate time-to-value. The role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader who thrives in a fast-paced startup and can operate effectively as an individual contributor or a player-coach guiding the team. You will continuously provide product feedback to internal stakeholders, acting as the eyes and ears on the ground to influence product direction and improve the integration experience.

What you'll do
- Work closely with clients and provide end-to-end support during their onboarding process, setting our clients up for success from day one.
- Own APIs, SDK documentation, integration guides, and overall support documents to ensure clarity, accuracy, and ease of use for technical consumers.
- Analyze clients' requirements from the technical and functional perspectives and design robust solutions by leveraging a deep understanding of our system and products' capabilities.
- Manage implementation projects comprehensively, including monitoring project quality, managing timelines, mitigating risk, and driving deliverables to completion without delay.
- Build a deep understanding of customers' business problems, technical requirements, and success criteria so that you can provide tailored solutions utilizing Sardine's technology stack effectively.
- Provide product feedback to internal stakeholders as the eyes and ears on the ground, surfacing insights that shape product improvements and integration usability.
- Utilize basic SQL querying and JSON payload analysis to debug data issues, validate payload structures, and ensure accurate data flows between systems.
- Leverage experience with API specifications like OpenAPI, web development principles, and scripting to build internal tools that streamline integration workflows.
- Write scripts in languages such as bash, Python, SQL, Ruby, Golang, or use tools like Postman to automate tasks and solve integration challenges efficiently.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and post-sales teams across the organization to unblock deployments and resolve technical issues swiftly.
Requirements
- Bring 7+ years of hands-on experience as an implementation manager, integrations engineer, technical account manager, solution architect, OR systems analyst, working with multiple technical teams, both internal and external.
- Accumulate 3+ years of B2B SaaS experience working in the relevant domain, including payment, fraud, risk, or compliance, to understand the nuances of these markets.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical and business concepts to both technical and non-technical personas with clarity and precision.
- Exhibit outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while driving deliverables to completion with strong attention to detail.
- Apply experience with basic SQL querying and JSON payload analysis to interpret data structures, troubleshoot issues, and validate integration correctness.
- Utilize experience with API specifications like OpenAPI, web development practices, and writing scripts to build internal tools that enhance productivity and integration reliability.
- Employ scripting skills in languages such as bash, Python, SQL, Ruby, Golang, or tools like Postman to create efficient, maintainable solutions for integration problems.
- Maintain a high level of adaptability and problem-solving aptitude to navigate fast-changing requirements and technical constraints in a startup environment.
