About the role
The Solutions Architect Lead owns the technical vision and execution for client onboarding workflows across the fraud and compliance portfolio. This role is responsible for leading a high-performing integration team that delivers seamless, scalable onboarding experiences for enterprise customers. You will translate complex functional requirements into robust technical solutions while maintaining a deep understanding of Sardine's product capabilities. The position involves acting as the primary technical liaison between clients and internal engineering teams during deployment. You will analyze business problems and architect practical, reliable integrations that align with client success criteria. Additionally, this role provides critical product feedback based on real-world implementation challenges. You will ensure that deployment processes are consistent, repeatable, and aligned with industry best practices.

What you'll do
- Lead and develop a high-performing integration team focused on delivering seamless client onboarding and scalable technical solutions.
- Work closely with clients and provide end-to-end support during their onboarding process, setting our clients up for success.
- Own APIs, SDK documentation, integration guides, and overall support documents to ensure clarity and usability.
- Analyze clients' requirements from the technical and functional perspectives and design solutions by having a deep understanding of our system and products' capabilities.
- Manage implementation projects, including monitoring project quality, managing timelines, mitigating risk, and driving deliverables to completion.
- Build a deep understanding of customers' business problems, technical requirements, and success criteria so that you can provide solutions utilizing Sardine's technology.
- Provide product feedback to internal stakeholders as the eyes and ears on the ground based on deployment interactions.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to prioritize features and improvements derived from client engagements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on integration patterns, data flows, and security protocols within the fraud consortium ecosystem.
- Guide clients through proof-of-concept exercises, ensuring technical validation and alignment with their operational goals.
- Develop reusable integration templates and reference architectures to accelerate future client deployments.
- Monitor industry standards and regulatory changes that could impact integration design and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate cross-functional workshops to clarify requirements, resolve blockers, and confirm solution acceptance criteria.
- Track and report on integration health metrics to drive continuous improvement and client satisfaction.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on experience as an implementation manager, integrations engineer, technical account manager, solution architect, or systems analyst, working with multiple technical teams, both internal and external.
- 3+ years of B2B SaaS experience working in the relevant domain (payment, fraud, risk, or compliance).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical and business concepts to technical and non-technical personas.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive deliverables to completion.
- Experience with basic SQL querying and JSON payload analysis to troubleshoot data mapping and integration issues.
- Experience with API specifications like OpenAPI, web development concepts, and writing scripts to build internal tools using bash scripting, Python, SQL, Ruby, Golang, Postman, or similar technologies.
- Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and data protection principles in cloud-based environments.
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical documentation to rapidly onboard new platforms and SDKs.
