About the role
This position focuses on representing Samsara's implementation and integration services to clients. You will be responsible for showcasing the value of our services and helping customers achieve their business objectives by engaging with C-level executives. This involves defining the scope, approach, and timeline for service engagements during the sales process.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Present and advocate for Samsara's professional services to potential and existing enterprise clients.
- Collaborate with Sales Representatives and Sales Engineers to incorporate service solutions into overall Samsara proposals.
- Manage and achieve Services ARR attach quotas.
- Forecast services revenue and monitor the ARR pipeline to anticipate demand.
- Plan and lead service scoping discussions with prospective clients, generating proposals, effort estimates, transition plans, and resource allocation.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers regarding product deployment and change management.
- Serve as a key point of contact during implementation to maintain executive relationships and assist with critical issues and expectation alignment.
- Contribute to the development of Samsara Services methodologies, processes, offerings, and supporting materials.
- Uphold and promote Samsara's core values, including customer success, long-term thinking, a growth mindset, inclusivity, and teamwork.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in presenting professional services or technology solutions.
- Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with sales teams, Customer Success Managers (CSMs), and other partners during project implementations.
- Strong presentation skills to effectively communicate the value, capabilities, and differentiators of complex service solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to innovate by creating service templates, engagement processes, and presentations with a proactive, builder mindset.
- Experience with the Statement of Work (SOW) and proposal process, including scoping, producing, and delivering SOWs that meet documented customer requirements.
- Ability to share relevant customer success stories and metrics that demonstrate value.
- A 4-year Bachelor's Degree.
- Proficiency in creating reports and dashboards within Salesforce (SFDC) and navigating the platform.
Nice to have
- Experience with Samsara's product suite, including Video-Based Safety, Vehicle Telematics, Apps and Driver Workflows, and Equipment Monitoring.
- Familiarity with the industries Samsara serves, such as transportation, construction, field services, and manufacturing.

Practical notes
- The annual base salary range for this position is $101,420 to $153,409 USD.
- Total compensation includes base salary, performance-based bonus/variable pay, and equity for eligible roles.

- This is a remote position open to candidates residing in the US, excluding the San Francisco Bay Metro Area, NYC Metro Area, and Washington, D.C. Metro Area.
