The position is based in Paris, France, and requires a defense-related authorization, reflecting the sensitive nature of the domains addressed. What you'll do

You will join the cross-functional R&D quality team, where your primary mission will be to guarantee the stability and scalability of Safran.AI's AI-driven solutions. You will actively shape the testing strategy and select the technical tools that best meet performance and scalability objectives. Your responsibilities will include designing, deploying, and maintaining an automated test bench capable of validating both functional and non-functional behaviors across the product portfolio.

A core part of your role will be developing and maintaining automated test suites that capture system metrics for continuous monitoring and comparison. You will define, create, and maintain the test datasets required to simulate realistic operational conditions and ensure robust validation. Collaboration will be essential, as you will work closely with product managers, developers, quality assurance colleagues, and support teams to establish clear operational boundaries and acceptable performance limits.

You will also be responsible for evaluating non-functional characteristics such as load tolerance, response times, and overall system performance. By ensuring that test automation aligns with return on investment and deployment scalability, you will contribute directly to the industrial maturity of Safran.AI solutions. In doing so, you will act as a quality advocate, promoting best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across engineering and operations.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must bring at least five years of professional experience in test automation and quality assurance within a technical environment relevant to complex data and AI systems. You should demonstrate solid, hands-on expertise in Python, Docker, and both SQL and NoSQL database technologies, along with a proven ability to design efficient, elegant solutions to intricate problems.

Experience with non-functional evaluation methods, including load and stress testing, is essential to assess system performance under realistic conditions. A strong understanding of web technologies and general software development practices will enable effective collaboration with engineering teams. You must also possess excellent organizational skills, a high degree of autonomy, and the ability to produce clear, structured reports and documentation.

Because the solutions developed at Safran.AI are used in sensitive contexts, you must be prepared to obtain the necessary defense-related authorization, which is a mandatory condition of employment.
