PLC Integration Engineer
Job description
About the role
You will own the end-to-end network and control-system layer for physical AI deployments in demanding Food and Beverage environments. This hands-on role places you at the core of installing, configuring, and maintaining the PLCs, networks, and edge devices that make industrial automation intelligent. You will partner directly with customer IT and OT teams to ensure robust, secure, and reliable connectivity between Laminar's sensors and edge hardware and existing factory control systems. When integration issues arise, you will diagnose root causes and implement fixes from initial commissioning through steady-state operation. You will translate complex technical patterns into clear documentation that accelerates future deployments and reduces repeat issues. This position is designed for builders who want to grow from tactical integration work toward edge software engineering and senior field deployment roles. You will play a key part in unlocking untapped operational data and helping world-class brands create Industry 4.0 impact at scale. Your work will directly support sustainability, efficiency, and performance goals for some of the largest manufacturers in the world.
