As a Senior Guidewire Integration Engineer, you will play a critical role in implementing our solutions for customers by designing, configuring, and supporting Guidewire integrations while ensuring accurate, reliable data flow across complex insurance and healthcare ecosystems. This is a hands-on integration engine role focused on delivering resilient, scalable solutions in a cloud-based healthcare technology stack.

What you'll do

You will investigate intricate integration challenges and architect resilient solutions that align with our cloud-based healthcare technology stack. You will configure and customize Guidewire integration artifacts, including XML schemas, transformation maps, and routing rules to satisfy precise business and regulatory requirements. You will develop and maintain robust interfaces that connect Guidewire platforms with external systems such as payers, providers, and third-party data services.

You will monitor live integration workflows, analyze diagnostic data, and coordinate rapid remediation of failures to uphold high service availability. You will partner with product and engineering teams to refine integration design documentation and ensure alignment with product roadmaps and compliance standards. You will implement automated testing strategies for integration components, validating data integrity, error handling, and performance under realistic loads.

You will collaborate with operations and support teams to streamline incident response, providing clear diagnostics and actionable remediation steps for complex issues. You will champion continuous improvement by identifying integration bottlenecks, proposing technical enhancements, and integrating new capabilities into existing workflows. You will serve as a technical mentor to cross-functional team members, sharing expertise in Guidewire tools, integration patterns, and healthcare data standards. You will also contribute to the development and maintenance of reusable integration assets, including templates, utilities, and documentation that accelerate future implementations.

Requirements

You must demonstrate strong experience with Guidewire integration technologies, including Integration Engine, XML, and related configuration tools. You should showcase advanced problem-solving skills, using analytical methods to dissect complex integration failures and devise effective solutions. You must bring hands-on experience with healthcare or insurance data standards, including eligibility, claims, and payment information flows.

You should exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear articulation of technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. You must commit to working effectively within agile team structures, participating in sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and cross-team coordination. You should maintain a strong attention to detail, ensuring that integration configurations, mappings, and data transformations meet strict accuracy and compliance expectations.

You are expected to embrace a customer-first mindset, prioritizing reliability, uptime, and responsive support for production integration workloads. You must comply with company policies, security procedures, and regulatory requirements governing healthcare data and integration environments.
