We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Enterprise AI team, which focuses on integrating AI into our operations to enhance efficiency and productivity. This position offers the chance to work on impactful projects that influence our engineering practices and product development.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Lead the delivery of significant platform projects, overseeing the entire process from design to deployment and post-launch evaluation.
- Manage Kubernetes infrastructure, including clusters, networking, and container orchestration.
- Design and enhance distributed services and cloud-native infrastructure on AWS or GCP, ensuring they meet performance and reliability standards.
- Promote engineering excellence through adherence to code quality, design reviews, and best practices in automation and CI/CD.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, AI, and Security, to align technical architecture with business goals.
- Mentor fellow engineers in architectural decisions and project delivery.
- Work with leadership to synchronize engineering strategies with product goals and technical roadmaps.
Requirements
- Over 9 years of experience in software engineering with a strong emphasis on backend and infrastructure development.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python and/or Go, with a focus on producing production-level code.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including building and managing clusters.
- Proven track record in designing and maintaining distributed systems in a production environment.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native technologies, specifically AWS and/or GCP, covering compute, storage, IAM, and networking services.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of applied AI tools and frameworks, capable of integrating backend services with AI functionalities.
- Excellent system design skills and architectural insight.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with product, security, and AI teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
- Background in multi-cloud or hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Understanding of API and AI gateways, as well as policy and authorization frameworks.
- Experience with service mesh or platform-as-a-service designs.
- Demonstrated ability to enhance engineering productivity on a large scale.
