What you'll do
- Identify and cultivate strategic relationships with key accounts to uncover new business opportunities and drive revenue expansion.
- Develop and execute comprehensive account plans that outline specific strategies for growth, retention, and penetration within target organizations.
- Analyze complex customer environments to pinpoint needs and position Rubrik's data security and data management solutions as the optimal choice.
- Partner with internal stakeholders such as marketing, product, and engineering to ensure alignment between customer requirements and company solutions.
- Articulate the value proposition of Rubrik's platform to executive leadership through persuasive presentations and business case development.
- Negotiate and structure agreements that balance customer needs with company profitability and strategic goals.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators for assigned accounts to identify trends and adjust strategies for maximum impact.
- Maintain current knowledge of data security regulations, technological advancements, and competitor activities to advise clients effectively.
- Serve as the primary escalation point and problem-solver for strategic accounts, ensuring high levels of trust and satisfaction.
- Engage in industry conferences, forums, and community events to enhance Rubrik's visibility and strengthen professional networks.
- Input all client interactions, opportunities, and outcomes into the CRM database to ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility.
- Gather and synthesize customer feedback to inform product enhancements and future go-to-market strategies.
Requirements
- Must possess a minimum of 5 years of progressive sales experience, with a strong emphasis on technology or cybersecurity solutions.
- Hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Business, Marketing, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of data protection methodologies, cloud infrastructure, and modern data management challenges.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and influence C-level executives and other key decision-makers.
- History of consistently meeting or surpassing sales quotas and generating sustainable revenue growth.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills that enable the development of strong trust-based relationships with clients.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment without compromising quality.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within the Southern California region to meet with clients and attend company functions.
