As a Staff Cloud Security Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing secure cloud architectures within our organization. This position requires collaboration with various teams to integrate security measures into all cloud-related operations. Your expertise will guide the development of security strategies and frameworks, ensuring that our cloud technologies are secure and compliant.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement frameworks and guidelines for cloud security architecture to protect enterprise environments and workloads.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams to prioritize and address security maturity initiatives effectively.
• Collaborate with cloud security architects and engineers to create scalable solutions for complex security challenges.
• Build proof of concept tools and platforms to proactively tackle security issues at scale.
• Conduct security assessments, architecture reviews, and risk analyses for cloud-native services.
• Create secure reference architectures and best practices to maintain consistency in cloud deployments.
• Lead strategic planning efforts to enhance cloud security capabilities, including public cloud security products and third-party tools.
• Partner with incident response teams to ensure efficient detection and mitigation of cloud security incidents.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Over 15 years of experience in securing complex on-premises or cloud environments, with at least 6 years focused on cloud security architecture and design, particularly in AWS, GCP, and/or Azure.
• Strong technical knowledge of core cloud service models, including compute, network, and storage technologies across AWS, GCP, and/or Azure.
• Proficiency in a programming or scripting language such as Python, Go, or Java for automating security processes.
• Extensive experience with containerized applications (Kubernetes, Docker), CI/CD pipelines, and microservices.
• At least 5 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
