What you'll do
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific mining operations and strategic objectives, providing tailored consultancy services that enhance their planning processes.
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of mining projects, including resource estimation, production forecasting, and financial modeling to support short and long-term planning initiatives.
- Develop and implement effective mine planning strategies that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.

- Contribute to business development efforts by identifying opportunities for new projects and assisting in proposal development.
- Collaborate with the Rpm Global team to continuously improve consultancy methodologies and tools, enhancing service delivery and client satisfaction.
Requirements
- A degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field, with a strong foundation in mining principles and practices.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in mining consultancy or related roles, with a focus on short and mid-to-long term planning.
- Proficiency in mine planning software such as Vulcan, Surpac, or similar tools, with a demonstrated ability to utilize these tools effectively in project scenarios.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and make informed recommendations based on findings.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with environmental and regulatory compliance in the mining sector, particularly in the Australian context.
- Familiarity with financial modeling and economic analysis related to mining projects.
