What you'll do
- Lead the development and execution of financial planning processes, including annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
- Analyze financial performance metrics and provide actionable insights to senior management to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and develop comprehensive business cases for new initiatives and projects.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for executive leadership, summarizing key findings and recommendations based on financial analysis.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic planning and identify growth opportunities.
- Manage and mentor a team of analysts, fostering their professional development and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Implement and maintain financial modeling tools to enhance forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual and budgeted performance, providing explanations and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Support ad-hoc analysis requests from various departments, ensuring timely and accurate information is provided.
- Drive process improvements within the planning and analysis function to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

- Assist in the preparation of quarterly earnings calls and investor presentations, contributing to the communication of financial results and strategic direction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the technology or media sectors.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Proven experience in managing and developing teams, with strong leadership capabilities.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with financial software and tools (e.g., Tableau, SAP, or similar).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
Nice to have
- Experience in the streaming media or entertainment industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools to enhance reporting and analysis.
- Knowledge of SQL or other programming languages for data analysis.
- Experience with scenario planning and risk assessment methodologies.
