What you'll do

• Lead the development and execution of financial planning processes, including annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
• Analyze financial performance metrics and provide actionable insights to senior management to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and develop comprehensive business cases for new initiatives and projects.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for executive leadership, summarizing key findings and recommendations based on financial analysis.
• Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic planning and identify growth opportunities.
• Manage and mentor a team of analysts, fostering their professional development and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Implement and maintain financial modeling tools to enhance forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual and budgeted performance, providing explanations and recommendations for corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the technology or media sectors.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
• Proven experience in managing and developing teams, with strong leadership capabilities.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with financial software and tools (e.g., Tableau, SAP, or similar).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.

Nice to have

• Experience in the streaming media or entertainment industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools to enhance reporting and analysis.
• Knowledge of SQL or other programming languages for data analysis.
