What you'll do
- Analyze complex business challenges and convert them into defined hypotheses, measurable goals, and actionable plans.
- Create sophisticated machine learning models and research-based methodologies aimed at fostering product innovation and enhancing business performance.
- Conduct live experiments to prototype enhancements and assess their effectiveness in real-time.
- Develop production-quality machine learning systems that function reliably within large-scale, low-latency advertising environments.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to establish, plan, and execute the machine learning strategy for Ad Serving.
- Offer technical guidance and mentorship in machine learning, experimentation frameworks, and best practices in applied research.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in applying machine learning and data science to address intricate, mission-critical real-world challenges.
- Extensive knowledge in statistics, machine learning, and optimization methods.
- Proven ability to function as a senior technologist on complex, revenue-critical, large-scale distributed machine learning systems.
- Practical experience in building and deploying machine learning models in production settings, including feature engineering, model serving, monitoring, and ongoing enhancement.
- Proficient in software engineering with languages such as Python, SQL, and Java or Scala.
- Strong foundational knowledge in computer science, with the capability to translate concepts into clean, efficient code.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong ability to collaborate effectively with others.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and initiatives.
- Publications in recognized peer-reviewed conferences or academic journals are advantageous.
- Familiarity with the advertising sector is a plus.

For candidates located in Massachusetts, the anticipated annual salary for this role ranges from $195,500 to $435,000. Compensation packages are tailored based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skills, certifications, and geographical location.
