What you'll do

• Monitor live streaming events in real-time to ensure optimal performance and quality, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, content, and customer support, to resolve technical challenges and improve service delivery.
• Analyze live event metrics and performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to enhance future broadcasts.
• Assist in the setup and configuration of live streaming equipment and software, ensuring all systems are operational before events commence.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation of live operations processes, including troubleshooting guides and best practices for future reference.
• Participate in post-event reviews to evaluate the success of live broadcasts, gathering feedback from stakeholders to inform future operations.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance protocols to ensure that all live content meets Roku's standards for excellence.
• Act as a point of contact for external partners and vendors during live events, facilitating communication and coordination as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Communications, Media, or Information Technology.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in live operations, broadcasting, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of live streaming technologies and platforms, with hands-on experience in monitoring and troubleshooting live events.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and act quickly under pressure.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and external partners.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all aspects of live operations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate live event schedules.

Nice to have

• Experience with video production tools and software, such as OBS Studio or Wirecast.
