Roku seeks a People Business Partner to anchor HR delivery for Content and Legal. This position drives end-to-end ownership of initiatives, translating strategy into action while safeguarding confidentiality and compliance. You will act as a trusted advisor, using insight to solve problems before they grow. Curiosity, resourcefulness, and collaboration define how you operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment. You own the full lifecycle of HR initiatives for Content and Legal, guiding managers, employees, and stakeholders through complex situations with clear, practical guidance. What you will do
Set the agenda for performance management, employee relations, and organizational development.
Lead sensitive conversations and navigate complex situations with sound judgment and strict confidentiality.
Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to uncover trends and drive proactive solutions.
Build strong partnerships with stakeholders to align people strategies with business goals.
Support content and creative teams in managing unique dynamics and compliance requirements.
Champion preventative problem solving to stop issues before they escalate.
Use AI tools and smart automation to accelerate drafts, analysis, and routine tasks.
Curate feedback and insights to help teams iterate quickly and improve their impact.
Own end-to-end responsibility for key HR initiatives from design through execution and evaluation.
Interpret business needs and convert them into clear, actionable HR programs and policies.
Partner with managers to strengthen team health, clarify expectations, and reinforce accountability.
Ensure all employee-facing processes uphold confidentiality and meet legal and regulatory standards.
Track outcomes and refine approaches based on what the data reveals about what is working and what is not.
Serve as the primary HR contact for Content and Legal, providing consistent, reliable guidance.
Maintain a pulse on team dynamics and emerging risks, escalating appropriately and recommending timely interventions.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in HR generalist or business partner roles.
- Demonstrated ability to use data and metrics to anticipate issues and guide decisions.
- Strong understanding of confidentiality and compliance in sensitive people matters.
- Capacity to work independently and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to build trust with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proven commitment to sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results under tight timelines.
