About the role
You will own the end-to-end operating model, governance framework, and operational strategy for Roku's Commerce Platform organization, ensuring seamless execution and platform resiliency across a global payments and commerce ecosystem. You will drive execution discipline and operational readiness by building and running governance frameworks, operating cadences, and executive reporting mechanisms that keep a complex, multi-team organization aligned and accountable. This role requires deep partnership across Product, Engineering, Payments, Financial Platform, Revenue Operations, Compliance, and external partners to translate organizational strategy into measurable operational outcomes. You will own strategic prioritization and tradeoffs across governance, execution, incident management, and organizational scalability while carrying leadership oversight across vendor management, fraud program operations, and payments analytics. As the Director, you will lead the TPM organization supporting Commerce Platform initiatives and mentor and manage the growing Commerce Platform Operations team. This is a high-visibility leadership role that serves as the connective tissue across Roku's Commerce Platform, ensuring consistent execution, operational transparency, and platform resiliency at scale.

What you'll do
Own the operating model, governance framework, and operational strategy for Roku's Commerce Platform organization, driving execution discipline and operational readiness across a payments and commerce ecosystem that supports global commerce operations.
Build and run governance frameworks, operating cadences, and executive reporting mechanisms that keep a complex, multi-team organization aligned and accountable across payment methods, processing, payouts, billing, and financial platform systems.
Partner deeply with Product, Engineering, Payments, Financial Platform, Revenue Operations, Compliance, and external partners to translate organizational strategy into measurable operational outcomes.
Own strategic prioritization and tradeoffs across governance, execution, incident management, and organizational scalability while advancing platform resiliency and operational maturity.
Lead leadership oversight across vendor management, fraud program operations, and payments analytics as the function matures to ensure robust risk management and performance.
Lead the TPM organization supporting Commerce Platform initiatives, providing mentorship, guidance, and career development to drive team effectiveness and execution.
Mentor and manage the growing Commerce Platform Operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Serve as the connective tissue across Roku's Commerce Platform, ensuring consistent execution, operational transparency, and platform resiliency at scale through cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or at any time during the employment relationship.

Must reside in California at the time of hire and throughout employment.
Must have at least 8 years of experience in operations, commerce, or payments-related roles.
Must have at least 8 years of experience in building, operating, or scaling technology platforms.
Must have at least 8 years of experience managing or partnering with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and Finance.
Must have at least 8 years of experience in roles that require strong analytical rigor and data-driven decision-making.
Must have at least 8 years of experience in roles requiring high ownership, judgment, and strategic impact.
Must have at least 5 years of experience in people management or leadership development.
Must have at least 5 years of experience with financial systems, billing, payments processing, or monetization platforms.
Must have at least 5 years of experience with vendor and external partner management.
Must have at least 5 years of experience with incident management, operational runbooks, and governance execution.
Must have at least 5 years of experience with compliance and risk frameworks within payments or commerce environments.
Must have at least 5 years of experience using enterprise-grade reporting and analytics tools to drive operational insights.
