What you'll do

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for indirect categories, including but not limited to marketing, IT services, facilities management, and professional services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify procurement needs and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions while mitigating risks.
• Monitor supplier performance and compliance, ensuring that they meet service level agreements and quality standards.
• Manage the procurement process from requisition to purchase order issuance, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
• Analyze procurement data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for process improvement.
• Lead initiatives aimed at driving cost efficiencies and optimizing the overall procurement process.
• Provide training and guidance to junior procurement staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with a focus on indirect procurement.
• Proven track record of successfully managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Familiarity with procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices and compliance regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach.
