In the capacity of Senior Anaplan Architect, you will be instrumental in refining our financial forecasting processes by crafting sophisticated Anaplan models that cater to our diverse business needs.

What you'll do

• Architect and deploy innovative financial forecasting models that encompass revenue and cost of goods sold (COGS) for our Devices and Advertising divisions.
• Provide continuous support and enhancements to existing Anaplan models, ensuring they align with the dynamic requirements of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team.
• Ensure data integrity across various systems to support reliable financial planning tools.
• Develop intuitive dashboards and reporting templates to effectively present data to stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with the FP&A team to pinpoint opportunities for process optimization and simplification.
• Create comprehensive training materials and facilitate user training sessions to enhance the effective utilization of Anaplan tools.
• Conduct ad hoc modeling and detailed analysis as needed to support decision-making processes.
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration to align financial models with overall business strategies.
• Monitor industry trends and best practices to continuously improve Anaplan capabilities.
• Act as a subject matter expert in Anaplan, providing insights and guidance to team members.
• Participate in strategic planning sessions to align financial forecasts with corporate objectives.
• Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making within the FP&A team.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in building Anaplan models, particularly within financial planning and analysis environments.
• Anaplan certification as a model builder or solution architect is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience with Tableau or comparable business intelligence platforms is preferred.
• Strong understanding of fundamental FP&A processes and methodologies.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• A strong interest in data analytics, business intelligence, and leveraging these tools to create value.
• High attention to detail with a strong commitment to maintaining data accuracy.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in the technology or media industries is advantageous.
• An inquisitive mindset regarding AI and its applications, with prior experience in generative AI being a plus.

• Familiarity with advanced data visualization techniques.
• Experience in integrating Anaplan with other financial systems.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management practices.

Skills & tools

• Expertise in Anaplan for financial modeling and forecasting.
• Proficient in Tableau or similar BI tools for data visualization and reporting.
• Strong analytical skills with a background in financial planning processes.
