What you'll do
- Clean the interior and exterior of campervans to a meticulous standard after each rental period.
- Perform detailed vehicle inspections to identify any damages or issues before customer handover.
- Assist customers during vehicle pickup and return procedures, ensuring a clear and friendly communication flow.
- Support the station team with daily operational tasks such as inventory checks and supply organization.
- Handle the preparation of vehicles for new renters, including bed setup and basic system checks.
- Maintain an organized workspace and storage area to support efficient workflow throughout the shift.
- Contribute to the overall visual presentation of the campervans to uphold our brand image.
- Document any irregularities or maintenance needs and report them promptly to the station management.
- Collaborate with colleagues to cover peak times and ensure seamless operation during busy rental periods.
- Follow all safety and hygiene protocols to create a secure environment for both staff and customers.
- Provide local insights and basic information about the region to renters when appropriate and within your scope.
- Use your initiative to improve small aspects of the workflow based on your observations and experience.
- Support the logistics of vehicle movement on site when necessary, always following guided safety procedures.
- Demonstrate reliability by maintaining consistent attendance and punctuality throughout the engagement period.
Requirements
- You possess a practical, hands-on approach to work and are comfortable with physical tasks.
- You hold a valid Class B driver's license, which is essential for this position.
- You can communicate effectively in German or English, both in written and spoken forms.
- You are legally allowed to work in Germany without restrictions during the specified engagement period.
- You have a strong sense of responsibility and understand the importance of attention to detail.
- You are able to follow instructions clearly and work independently when required.
- You have a flexible mindset and can adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- You are available to work the required shifts consistently from August 1st to October 31st.

- Experience in a customer-facing role within the travel, hospitality, or service industry.
- Previous exposure to vehicle cleaning or preparation tasks in a professional setting.
- Basic knowledge of campervan systems or outdoor equipment used during travel.

Practical notes
- Flexible contract options available: Minijob, Werkstudent, Part-time, or Full-time.
- Workdays are Monday to Saturday, between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM, based on your availability.
- The position is located at Am Maarbach 7-9, 54329 Konz, which is closely associated with the Trier region.
- This is a temporary engagement running from August 1st to October 31st, with the possibility of extension based on performance and needs.
- Applicants must be able to commit to the full duration of the engagement or discuss exceptions early with the hiring manager.
- All work schedules will be coordinated in advance to ensure clarity and proper planning for each shift.
- There may be requirements to work during weekends or public holidays depending on the rental demand.
- Compliance with roadsurfer internal guidelines and local regulations is mandatory at all times.
