Product Designer
Job description
About the role
Rilla is seeking a Product Designer to own the end-to-end design of our flagship sales coaching platform used by thousands of frontline teams. In this role, you will define the visual and interactive language across desktop and mobile experiences, ensuring consistency and excellence in every user journey. You will partner directly with engineers and customers to translate complex real-world sales workflows into intuitive, high-quality digital interfaces. The designer will spearhead new vertical initiatives, exploring how AI can physically manifest in the tools people use away from their screens. You will be responsible for establishing and evolving the design system, creating reusable components that accelerate future product development. This position requires a bias for action, where rapid prototyping and testing with real users de-risks innovation and validates design decisions early. You will also mentor junior designers, shaping the design culture and collaboration norms within the product organization.

Champion the voice of the customer within the design team, ensuring every decision is grounded in real user pain points and contexts.
Work cross-functionally with product and engineering partners to prioritize features that maximize impact on customer outcomes and business goals.
Represent Rilla at industry events and conferences, showcasing our design philosophy and gathering insights to bring back to the team.
Refine onboarding flows and user education materials to help new customers successfully adopt and derive value from the platform.
Explore emerging hardware interactions, considering how our software might evolve beyond screens into the physical world.
Establish best practices for design collaboration, creating workflows that enable speed without sacrificing quality or craftsmanship.
