You will operate with a high degree of ownership over product outcomes and cross-functional coordination. The role demands curiosity, resilience, and a commitment to delivering reliable digital experiences. What you'll do
You will design user flows for messaging and reporting features that clarify client interactions and streamline information delivery across multiple channels. This involves architecting backend services and APIs that power notifications, document handling, and secure transmission channels with attention to reliability and scale. You will refine frontend components so investment teams can navigate seamlessly between data points, strategic decisions, and time-sensitive updates without friction. A key part of the role is championing reliability practices that keep communication systems observable, scalable, and responsive under varying loads and conditions. You will guide technical direction by carefully evaluating tools, patterns, and integrations to select the most appropriate solutions for complex problems. You will use AI tools such as Claude Code and ChatGPT to speed up development and testing activities, including code review and automated checks. The role requires diagnosing behavior in production environments and refining workflows to enhance throughput, stability, and overall system health. You will translate requirements into clear solutions while maintaining calm, transparent dialogue with all stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences. You will also support a culture where teammates teach, learn, and share ownership of outcomes, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
Requirements
You must hold work authorization in the United States and not require employer sponsorship for employment. You will bring five or more years of experience shaping software that reaches real users in production environments and demonstrates impact. You will show depth in modern fullstack technologies, including React, TypeScript, Java, Kotlin, or Python, with proven ability to write clean, maintainable code. You will have a record of building APIs and backend services that scale, perform well, and integrate across distributed systems and services. You will care about small details that affect usability, readability, and application performance in both user-facing and internal tools. You will collaborate easily with colleagues in product, design, and client-facing groups to ensure alignment and shared understanding. You will solve difficult problems while taking clear ownership for results, communication, and follow-through on commitments. You will express ideas in writing and speech with precision and clarity, documenting decisions and communicating tradeoffs effectively. You will be keen to study new tools and business concepts while improving your expertise and expanding your skill set over time. You will communicate respectfully with diverse audiences and perspectives, recognizing that inclusive dialogue leads to better outcomes.
Nice to have
You will have experience creating communication platforms, messaging systems, or client engagement tools that serve demanding professional environments. You will know investment management or enterprise SaaS product workflows, including common patterns, regulations, and operational constraints. You will be familiar with event-driven architectures, notification pipelines, and document generation patterns to support efficient and reliable workflows.
