What you'll do
Coordinate project timelines, milestones, and deliverables across multiple internal teams and external stakeholders.
Define project scope, objectives, and measurable success criteria in close collaboration with leadership and technical staff.
Monitor ongoing project progress and proactively identify risks, issues, or blockers that could impact delivery timelines or quality standards.
Facilitate regular status meetings and prepare clear, concise reports to keep all parties informed of current project health and direction.
Maintain and continuously update comprehensive project documentation, including detailed plans, schedules, resource allocations, and change logs.
Work directly with product and engineering teams to prioritize feature requests and manage development backlogs in an organized manner.
Ensure that every project outcome aligns with Bamboohr's broader strategic goals, product roadmap, and long-term company vision.
Manage relationships with external vendors and third-party partners as needed to support timely and effective project delivery.
Track project budgets and resource utilization carefully to ensure that all initiatives remain within their defined financial constraints.
Drive continuous process improvements within project management workflows to increase overall efficiency, consistency, and team productivity over time.
Liaise between senior leadership and execution teams to clarify priorities, resolve conflicts, and remove obstacles that slow progress.
Support the onboarding and integration of new project team members by establishing clear roles, expectations, and communication channels.
Requirements
Demonstrated experience managing projects in a technology, software, or transit-related industry over a sustained period of time.
Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to juggle multiple concurrent priorities and meet firm deadlines consistently.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for engaging effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Solid proficiency with established project management methodologies including Agile, Scrum, and traditional Waterfall approaches to delivery.
Strong capacity to work independently and take personal ownership of deliverables while requiring minimal day-to-day supervision.
Hands-on experience with budgeting, resource planning, and risk management practices for projects of moderate scale and complexity.
A bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, engineering, or a closely related discipline is preferred.
Familiarity with the transit, mobility, or transportation technology ecosystem and an understanding of its unique operational challenges.

Prior experience working with transit fare collection systems or mobility-as-a-service platforms in a professional capacity.

Background collaborating with distributed or remote teams spread across different geographic locations and time zones.
