What you'll do

• Define and communicate the product vision and strategy to align stakeholders and team members with the overall goals of the company.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to create and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that user stories are well-defined and actionable.
• Conduct market research and user interviews to gather insights that inform product development and feature enhancements.
• Analyze user feedback and performance metrics to continuously improve the product and address any issues that arise.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, to ensure the team remains focused and productive.
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates on product progress and gathering input for future developments.
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for innovation.
• Collaborate with the sales and customer support teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing customer satisfaction.
• Create detailed product documentation, including user guides and release notes, to support both internal teams and end-users.
• Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture.
• Manage the product lifecycle from concept through launch, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
• Participate in strategic planning sessions to align product initiatives with the company's long-term vision and goals.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in product management or product ownership, preferably in the technology or transportation sectors.
• Proven track record of successfully launching and managing software products throughout their lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in an agile development environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management software.
• Familiarity with user experience design principles and methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.

Nice to have

• Experience in the public transportation or mobility sector, with a deep understanding of industry challenges and opportunities.
• Knowledge of software development processes and technologies, including familiarity with APIs and integration strategies.
• Previous experience in a startup environment, demonstrating adaptability and resourcefulness.
• Proficiency in Estonian or other languages relevant to the region.
• Relevant certifications in product management or agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner).
